1、 Storage environment control

（1） Suitable temperature and humidity

Solid wood coffins are sensitive to the temperature and humidity of the storage environment. Excessive temperature can cause wood to dry, crack, and deform; Excessive humidity may cause wood to mold and rot. Generally speaking, the temperature of the storage environment should be maintained between 15-25 ℃, and a relative humidity control of 40% -60% is more suitable. Thermometers and hygrometers can be used to monitor environmental parameters in real time. If the humidity is too high, dehumidifiers can be placed or dehumidifiers can be used; If the humidity is too low, a humidifier can be used to adjust it.

（2） Good ventilation

A well ventilated environment helps to keep the surface of the coffin dry and prevent moisture accumulation. The place where solid wood coffins are stored should have regular windows for ventilation, but direct sunlight should be avoided. The ultraviolet rays in sunlight can accelerate the aging of wood, causing the surface of the wood to fade and dry out. If direct sunlight cannot be avoided, curtains or blackout cloth can be used to block it.

（3） Stay away from sources of pollution

Solid wood coffins should be kept away from sources of pollution such as chemicals, paint, and oil fumes. These pollutants can corrode the surface of wood, affecting the appearance and quality of coffins. At the same time, it is also important to avoid placing coffins in damp, dark corners to prevent the growth of bacteria and pests.

2、 Daily cleaning and maintenance

（1） Regular dust removal

Gently wipe the surface of the coffin with a soft dry cloth or feather duster to remove dust and debris. Avoid using a damp cloth to wipe, as moisture may seep into the interior of the wood, causing it to deform or mold. For the gaps and carved parts on the surface of the coffin, a soft bristled brush can be used for cleaning.

（2） Stain treatment

If stains are accidentally left on the surface of the coffin, they should be dealt with promptly. For minor stains, you can use a clean soft cloth dipped in a small amount of water to gently wipe them, and then dry them with a dry cloth. For stubborn stains, professional wood cleaners can be used for cleaning, but it is important to follow the instructions for using the cleaner to avoid damaging the wood.

（3） Avoid scratching

During daily use and cleaning, it is important to avoid scratching the surface of the coffin with sharp objects. Soft fabrics or blankets can be laid on the surface of the coffin to reduce the possibility of scratching. At the same time, when moving the coffin, be careful and handle it gently to avoid collision and falling.
